A tiny cabin in the woods sounds idyllic.

Finding said cabin can be stressful. Which is where Getaway comes in. The New York-based hospitality brand offers “mindful escapes to tiny cabins in nature within two hours of major cities” — basically, beautiful yet minimalist tiny houses offering a quick and easy escape for stressed-out urban dwellers.

(They also just landed $22 million in new funding, so your reservations are pretty damn safe for the near future.)

As of now, Getaway has six Outposts (collections of tiny cabins) with 140 total design-forward dwellings outside of New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Portland, and one in between Pittsburgh and Cleveland, with two new locations opening later this summer, outside of Los Angeles and Dallas.

How it works:

You choose your Outpost, cabin size and travel dates. They’ll send you the address of your cabin upon booking, as well as emailing and texting with your cabin name and keycode.

Each 140-200-square-foot cabin features 1-2 queen-sized beds (which are always near a large window), fire pit, grilling grate, firewood, picnic tables/chairs, a full kitchen (with some free food and cooking essentials, and some available for purchase) and real showers and toilets.

Oh, and while there’s a landline, expect cell phone coverage to be spotty. And “There is no WiFi and never will be.” It’s about disconnecting, folks.

Right now, you can save 20% on a two-night or longer stay with the code SUMMER20, available through June 25.
