Kid Rock is in the news after appearing this week on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show to confirm that he’ll be sticking to music — not running for Senate, as he had considered earlier this year — but he didn’t shy away from getting political on the show, Stephen Colbert pointed out on Wednesday night, slamming the New York Times after Stern lauded it as a “miracle” paper.
“I’m gonna knock it,” Rock whose real name is Robert Ritchie, told Stern after the radio host said he gets “very upset” when people knock it.
“I do believe that papers like The New York Times are a miracle,” Stern said.
