Welcome to Culture Hound, InsideHook’s deep dive into the month’s most important cultural happenings, pop and otherwise.

WATCH: The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent

Outside of a few interesting indie and horror films (basically, Mandy), the last decade or so hasn’t been kind to Nicolas Cage’s acting career. In this meta take, Cage stars as a fictionalized version of his most eccentric self, who takes a $1 million offer to attend the birthday of a superfan… but finds himself working undercover for the CIA.
