Before brands like Lululemon and Rhone launched the athleisure revolution and debuted all sorts of newfangled work-out fabrics, the industry standard was Nike’s cotton-polyester Dri-FIT blend.

Over the course of a week, I’ll still wear Nike Dri-FIT twice to the gym, and I can confidently report: it holds up. The material may not be as breathable as newer offerings from the swoosh, or other well-known brands (you won’t find vent technology, four-way stretch, or silver in the threading), but it moves well, doesn’t chafe, and absorbs sweat, which at a pretty basic level, is all you’re asking for from a workout tee.

Its best asset, though, is its affordability. In a landscape of $75 tops, Nike’s Dri-FIT is super affordable. In fact, you can currently bring home the Drinks-FIT Crew Training T-Shirt for just $20 at Nordstrom. You’ll spend more on dinner tomorrow night. Choose between 18 colorways here.
