Days before he’s set to tee off at the PGA Championship in pursuit of a 16th major, Tiger Woods has been named in a wrongful death lawsuit which is being brought by the parents of a former employee at his restaurant.

The suit, which also names Woods’ girlfriend Erica Herman, is being brought by the parents of Nicholas Immesberger. The 24-year-old died in a driving accident after working a shift The Woods restaurant that Herman is a manager at in Jupiter, Florida. At the time of his death, Immesberger had a blood-alcohol reading of .256, more than three times the legal limit in Florida.

According to the lawsuit, Immesberger had a history of alcohol addiction and Woods as well as the rest of the restaurant’s staff reasonably should have known his history of being a “habitual drunkard.”

“The employees and management at The Woods had direct knowledge that Immesberger had a habitual problem with alcohol,” the lawsuit reads, according to USA Today. “In fact, employees and managers knew that Immesberger had attended Alcoholic Anonymous meetings prior to the night of his crash and was attempting to treat his disease. Despite this, the employees and management at The Woods continued to serve Immesberger alcohol while he was working as well as after work, while he sat at the bar.”

It’s unclear if Woods or Herman were at the restaurant on December 10, the night of the accident.

A news conference about the lawsuit, which seeks “in excess of” $15,000, is scheduled for Tuesday morning.

Woods will tee off at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York, on Thursday morning.
