Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray is getting all the love prior to the NFL draft while Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. is flying under the radar.

Just like another quarterback who was drafted almost two decades ago: Tom Brady.

Aside from his throwing arm and quick feet, the best thing Haskins has going for him is that he has been described as “Tom Brady-ish.”

“He’s the most like Tom Brady of anyone we’ve had,” ex-NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer told Sports Illustrated. “He sees it like Tom, he works at it, he plays that way. He plays on time, with his intellectual process. I don’t want to compare anyone to Brady, but he’s ‘Tom Brady-ish.’”

Haskins has no problem with the comparison.

“That’s just a great comparison for me because I want to be like Tom Brady,” he told SI this week. “He’s one of the best quarterbacks of all time, if not the best. Just to be able to be in the same sentence as him as ‘Tom Brady-ish’ is pretty cool to me.”

So where might Haskins go? Unlike sixth-round pick Brady, Haskins could go in the top five in the first round.

If he does, that’s good news for him but bad news for current Raiders starter Derek Carr.
