Nick Foles is doing just fine after the Philadelphia Eagles destroyed the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC championship game on Sunday. He underwent X-rays on his ribs after the game merely as a precaution. “They were just checking,” Foles told ESPN after the Eagles’ 38-7 victory over Minnesota. “I’m good. I’m good.” If his ribs had been a bother during the game, Foles didn’t show it. He completed 26 of 33 passes for 353 yards and three touchdowns, including a 53-yarder to Alshon Jeffery and a 41-yarder to Torrey Smith. He will also now get a two-week reprieve before the Super Bowl on Feb. 4 in Minneapolis. “I haven’t even had time to really comprehend what’s going on, to be honest. I don’t even know if I ever will,” Foles said after the game, according to The Washington Post. “When I was up there on the stage, it’s something you dream about as a kid. Just being the magnitude of this game and for us to go out as a team and put together a great performance, that’s something really special.”
