Colin Kaepernick Hands Out Suits Outside New York Parole Office

 

While former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has struggled to find a new team, that hasn’t stopped him from helping others find employment.

Kaepernick was spotted recently helping distribute suits outside of a parole office in New York City’s borough of Queens. Kaepernick teamed up with 100 Suits, an organization seeking to help “formerly incarcerated individuals, homeless individuals, gang members and survivors of domestic violence” by providing “free business attire to men and women who are in the job search process.”

Kaepernick’s efforts appear to be part of his pledge last year to donate $1 million, including money from his sales of his jersey sales, to charity. According to his website, he has since given to Mothers Against Police Brutality, Appetite For Change, Center For Reproductive Rights, and Meals on Wheels as well as raised funds for families suffering from a famine in Somalia.

100 Suits reported that Kaepernick dropped off two large boxes of custom-made suits.
