The weekend before Halloween, the Bosa brothers dominated on defense while scaring the bejeesus out of a pair of opposing quarterbacks.
Against Carolina quarterback Kyle Allen, Nick Bosa recorded three sacks and had an interception as the 49ers rolled the Panthers. His brother Joey looked almost as good against Chicago QB Mitchell Trubisky sacking him twice and recording four tackles for loss as the Chargers beat the Bears.

For their efforts, the Bosa brothers were named Defensive Player of the Week in their respective conferences.

For Joey, the 2016 Defensive Rookie of the Year, it’s the first time he’s won the Player of the Week award. Little brother Nick was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week earlier this year after he gave Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield fits in Week 5.
Amazingly, it’s not the first time a pair of brothers have both been recognized as their conferences best players in the same week.
According to Yahoo Sports, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning were AFC and NFC Offensive Players of the Week in Week 2 of the 2006 season.
Peyton completed 26-of-38 passes for 400 yards and three touchdowns while leading the Colts to a win that week while little brother Eli completed 31-of-43 passes for 371 yards with three touchdowns to pace the Giants in a victory.
