Though it was a 180 degrees short of the 900 he pulled off at the X Games in 1999, the 720 Tony Hawk performed in a half-pipe earlier this week was almost as impressive.

In a video he shared on Twitter, the 52-year-old icon showed he’s still got the goods despite being closer to Medicare eligibility than he is an X Games podium.

Even though Hawk was able to nail the trick at age 52, he may not be doing another one before, or after, his 53rd birthday in May.

“I can’t say for certain that this is the last one I’ll ever do, but I can’t imagine doing many more,” he wrote on Twitter.

To that end, Hawk is giving fans a chance to win the board he used on what may have been his final double 360.

For some contrast about his evolution as a skater, Hawk previously shared a video shot on a VHS tape that his father took of him in ’87.

While it is great Hawk is still able to pull off a 720 in 2021, we’re not sure he’d still be able to pull of the pretty-in-pink outfit he was rocking in ’87. Though if anyone could, it’s him.
