Calling all folks with a hankering for a piece of true race bike history, the Indian Scout FTR750 is for you.
Now for sale to the public at large, it’s the very same factory machine saddled by American Flat Track series by National Champions Bryan Smith, Brad Baker and Jared Mees.
It’s not cheap — you’ll need to shell out about $50K to get your hands on one, to say nothing of the work and labor that will go into it right from the get-go. But for race buffs, it’s a real opportunity.
“Since its debut, feedback on the Scout FTR750 has been overwhelmingly positive, with unbelievable interest and demand for the bike,” said Gary Gray, Product Director for Indian Motorcycle. “The bike’s availability to all race teams will help further establish Indian Motorcycle’s presence in American flat track racing.”
What’s in store: an ultra-light steel frame, an equally featherweight carbon fiber body and a high probability of fun.
