The future of menswear is customization. Think high-quality, low-waste, made-to-measure … and exactly how you want it.
Tying your new tailor-made wardrobe together: The Custom Belt, a new collab from the have-it-your-way experts at Consortium and Saintly Bags.
We’re big fans of both brands. Consortium is an online (and occasional pop-up brick-and-mortar) custom marketplace for everything from denim to watches to fragrances. Saintly hand-makes handsome leather weekenders that are available in — thanks to their myriad customization options — a million-plus different combinations.
Launching today, their first collaboration is a leather belt tailored to your exact specifications. Buyers can choose from 30 different colors that span four lines of full grain bison belt leather (and three different widths), while the solid brass buckles come in three different colors and styles, all of them easily interchangeable.
Plus, each belt is made to measure: you just need to provide your pant or jean size. The’re also offering two art-inspired belts from Tripp Art (as seen on Project Runway) and Marco Santini’s ONE LOVE Project (a belt that impressively has the word “love” etched in 40 different translations).
During preorders on Kickstarter, the belts begin at just $79 for a strap, buckle and $30 credit toward a second belt buckle — a $155 value overall.
