How are we surviving bomb cyclone season?
Two words: Nuke Suit.
More to the point, the Nuke Suit 3.0, one of several dapper options for dire weather from upstart skiwear brand Aztech Mountain.
The Aspen-based clothier, which counts Olympic gold medalist Bode Miller as its Chief Innovation Officer, just debuted an updated line of technical and après skiwear that’ll help you get down the mountain in style.
A few standouts from their line:
The Nuke Suit 3.0: A streamlined, goose down-filled jacket with detachable hood and powder skirt, ventilation panels, a tech pocket and goggle cloth.
Team Aztech Ski Pant: Available in four colors, these insulated, tailored ski pants are constructed from four-way stretch nylon and filled with 40g Primaloft Gold insulation.
Be Good, Go Fast Sweater: Crafted from water-repellent merino wool, this color-blocked jumper features a Team Aztech patch in honor of this year’s Winter Olympics. (More colorful types may veer toward the Snow Leopard, while more conventional types might dig the Matterhorn crew, which both feature Italian yarn coated with Teflon, as well as nylon elbow patches.)
Also on tap: merino wool hat-and-scarf kits (complete with a reusable nylon bag), a colorful and waterproof three-layer shell jacket and the Hunter Creek sweatpant, a post-slope comfort made from Italian Jersey with a tuxedo stripe down the leg.
Winter’s looking better already.
