Today, Billy Joel turns 67, and to help celebrate, we’ve brought you the video for his signature song, “Piano Man,” which was recently added to the National Recording Registry, along with 24 other recordings. The 1973 song was his first, non-album single ever, and is loosely based on Joel’s Los Angeles gig as a lounge pianist in ’72. It peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
