In its latest attempt to tackle false news on its platform, Facebook is experimenting with a button to allow users to access more information about the news article and source they are reading, CNBC reports.
“This new feature is designed to provide people some of the tools they need to make an informed decision about which stories to read, share, and trust,” the company said in a statement.
The move comes after the company revealed that Russian ads during the 2016 election reached approximately 10 million users, including those in battleground states like Michigan.
