A cage diving instructor in South Africa captured extraordinary footage of a great white shark leaping from the water and sliding back under the surface, giving a customer more than they expected.
The footage was shot off the coast of fishing town Gansbaai, in South Africa’s Western Cape. It was captured by the cage diving instructor, who later explained after catching his breath:
“I was shooting a film for customer’s cage diving with great white sharks and had this large great white breach in front of the cage, in front of my lens. Very important that everyone knows that these sharks are not ruthless killers but amazing, large, beautiful creatures.”
