Look, we don’t always agree with Mark Zuckerberg.

But we’ll give the social media giant credit for a good idea, one that could help both exhausted parents and fitful sleepers in general.

In April, Zuckerberg posted on Facebook that he had hacked together a wooden “sleep box” that emitted a faint light when you need to get up; if it isn’t glowing, you can return to sleep without the disruption of looking at your phone or the stress of knowing the time.

“As an engineer, building a device to help my partner sleep better is one of the best ways I can think of to express my love and gratitude. A bunch of my friends have told me they’d want something like this, so I’m putting this out there in case another entrepreneur wants to run with this and build sleep boxes for more people!” he wrote in his FB post.

That entrepreneur has arrived. Hailing from Premiere Electronics, the Zucklight is exactly what Mark Zuckerberg proposed, but with some new bells and whistles: the time, light color and brightness can all be adjusted. And some of the more advanced models (there are three) include a wireless charger and humidity, temperature and CO2 sensors.

All of the Zucklights are available in light oak, mahogany or white Aspen colors and can fit on your bedside table. And each model is over 50% off during preorders, with delivery in November.
