You know the work of Pete Souza, former chief official White House photographer for Barack Obama during his two terms as POTUS. He’s racked up a considerable following after the fact, partly from nostalgia and partly for his trove of almost two million images that he posts on his Instagram at crucial moments in Trump’s presidency to point out the, well, differences. People, myself included, have been clamoring for a hardcover collection — and it’s finally here. This book is less a comfort blanket for Democrats (Souza was also a White House photographer for Ronald Reagan) than an intimate look into a world-changing presidency. — Alex Lauer, Associate Editor

There’s a damn good reason some things never change. Case in point, the simple, the beloved OG hot water bottle. I swear by mine on frigid nights and they’re a godsend for the flu chills.
