Sony released the much-anticipated WH-1000XM4 headphones a week ago, which improved the hands-free calling and wearing detection from the XM3 model while also allowing for multiple connections.
Otherwise, it’s almost the exact same device, both inside and out. At the time (again, just last week), it was a deal because the new version was going for the same price as the well-loved older model.
Not anymore. Right now Amazon has the Sony WH-1000XM3 over-ear, noise-cancelling cans for a new low price of $248 … but that’s for today only.
Available in black or silver, these headphones offer Alexa controls, smart listening that adjusts to your environment and up to 30 hours of playtime per charge. Even a few years in, they’re still one of our favorites — and it’s certainly worth $100 in savings to stick with the older model.
