Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: a Braun clock designed by Virgil Abloh, Nike Blazers inspired by movie theater popcorn and YETI’s Aquifer Blue collection.

Tanqueray

Tanqueray 0.0%

We’ve seen plenty of “booze-free spirits” in the past few months, but most of those hail from new and/or independent producers. Tanqueray’s new product, however, brings a big name to the zero-alcohol club. Their just-announced Tanqueray 0.0% promises “all the taste, zero alcohol” while still being crafted from the same distilled botanicals as their signature London Dry.

Billabong

Billabong Desert Trip Furnace Fleece

Fleece season is far from over, so you still have plenty of time to wear this trippy design from Billabong’s latest collection. Inspired by the desert (hence the name), the fleece melds sand, sky and sun into one mesmerizing and far-out design. Featuring an all-over polar fleece construction, a half-zip mock neckline, as well as welt hand-warmer pockets and a zippered chest pocket, the fleece is not only cool to look at but will be a highly comfortable and super functional.

Revival Rugs

Moroccan Rugs

Step up your home décor game with Revival’s latest offering of one-of-a-kind Moroccan Rugs. Also known as Amazigh or Berber rugs, they’re often favored for their asymmetrical, abstract and bold designs, ideal for those with a penchant for maximalism. Each vintage Moroccan rug is handpicked and professionally cleaned by Revival’s team in Morocco, so you can rest assured that you’re getting the real deal.

Off-White

Off-White c/o Braun “BC02” Clock

Despite already having sold out (naturally), you can at least appreciate the bold but minimalistic design of Virgil Abloh’s take on the iconic timepiece from Braun. Abloh’s choice for the solid orange color comes from his desire to create an object “that stands out in an interior design setting.” We certainly think he successfully executed his vision.

Breitling

Breitling Top Time Deus Limited Edition

Breitling is not a watch company people normally associate with James Bond, but the brand’s Top Time chronograph did appear on the wrist of Sean Connery in Thunderball. It was a highly modified version, as is this latest version of the timepiece, which has been produced in collaboration with Deus Ex Machina. And you know what? We like the Top Time when it lets loose a little. Here we’ve got a lightning bolt seconds hand, “squircle” subdials and a motorcyclist engraved on the caseback. Limited to 1,500 pieces.

Nike

Nike Blazer Mid ’77 in ‘Popcorn’

Inspired by the buttery goodness of movie theater popcorn, this iteration of the Blazer Mid ’77 features tumbled white leather uppers accented by the contrasting “Coconut Milk” sole and Nike Swoosh. Reworked branding on the tongue and heel hint at the classic red and white packaging of old school theater popcorn, while the most obvious homage to the treat is the popcorn patterned insole. While it might be some time until we indulge in the movie theater snack again, we’ll at least hold ourselves over with these shoes.

Routine

NLBM x Routine

The baseball-inspired streetwear brand Routine teamed up with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum for this six-piece capsule collection, which honors the impact and rich history of African-American baseball and its impact on America’s social advancement. The first pieces here — a hoodie, T-shirts, beanies and caps — are all inspired by real stories about the leagues and its players.

YETI

YETI Aquifer Blue Collection

YETI’s latest colorway gleans inspiration from the secret watering holes found in Austin, Texas, particularly those frequented by producer Steve Eckelman. The varying shades of turquoise that make up the coolers, Ramblers and other products included in the Aquifer Collection mimic the serene hues of these swimming spots. Snag the Texas-inspired collection before it’s gone for good and bring them along with you to your own secret oases.

Amazon

All-New Echo Show 10

If you’re going to commit to making Alexa a part of the family, you might as well go all-in with the Echo Show 10, which was just released this week. Featuring a 10-inch HD screen that automatically moves with you so you can see it and it can see you, the Echo Show 10 is perfect for cooking meals in the kitchen and walking and talking during video calls. In addition to coming equipped with a 13MP camera offering a 110° field-of-view, the Echo Show 10 is packing a directional sound system that automatically adapts to where you are in the room. A little creepy, yes, but also very handy.

Ralph Lauren

Polo Ralph Lauren x MLB

If you’re a Yankees or Dodgers fan consider upgrading your merch game with this collaboration between Polo Ralph Lauren and Major League Baseball. The collection consists of two polo designs, the first featuring the team’s name on the front in bold script, with “Ralph Lauren” on the back along with the team’s logo, while the second polo offers a slightly more subtle design, with the iconic Polo Bear embroidered on the chest and decked out in uniform as he gears up to pitch.

Lodge Cast Iron

Lodge Cast Iron Grilling Tools

The last couple weeks we’ve been offering a cast iron 101, from the best skillets to the most common misconceptions about the cookware. If you already know all that, and were maybe slightly offended that we even thought you needed that advice, then you might be just the person to appreciate Lodge’s new line of cast-iron grillware. There’s a fun smoker skillet, some toppers for your grill, and even a charcoal grill made entirely of cast iron. All we need now is a cast-iron shed to store all our cast-iron gear.

John Geiger

002 Low by John Geiger GMC HUMMER EV “Lunar”

Heralded sneaker designer John Geiger teamed up with GMC to create this limited-edition sneaker celebrating the new electric Hummer. Do you like the moon print, the slip-on style, the association with the most improbable (well, one of the most improbable) electric trucks out there? It doesn’t matter, really, because the shoes sold out pretty much immediately.
