Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: An American Trench tie-dye kit, Brooklinen beach towels and a spicy sauce for your boring salads.

Brooklinen Beach Towels

While a trip to the beach might not be in the cards for many of us this summer, Brooklinen is making it easier to bring the beach (or at the very least the vibe) home, with their new Beach Towel, available in four colorways. The towels are lent a distinctly retro look thanks to the multicolored squiggle design inspired by water, sand and waves that make them a fun addition to one’s home. The front is made from velour, and the back is crafted from Terry 600 GSM (a slightly thicker fabric than their Classic Towel), perfect for absorbing water post-dip. Even if you can’t make it to the beach this year, allow these towels to transport you there whether you’re at the park, in your backyard or lying on your living room floor.

Filson Smokey Bear Collection

Filson and the U.S. Forest Service have a long and storied history that goes back to the 1920s, but in recent years they’ve been championing the organization’s mascot for the benefit of outdoorsmen and streetwear collectors alike. And just in time for whatever summer 2020 holds, they’ve dropped a new Smokey Bear collection. (Yes, it’s Smokey Bear with an “e” and no “the,” capeesh?)

Exclusive Todd Snyder x Timex Pride Watch

Our favorite (sub-four-figure) watch collab gets a bright and powerful new ticker. The stainless steel Pride timepiece (with a braided fabric strap) is composed of three rotating colored discs, so as the time changes and the discs interact, the shades change and you’ll see all colors of the rainbow.

Tie Dye Sock Kit

American Trench’s Tie Dye Sock Kit is the perfect starter kit for those attempting tie-dye for the first time, as it’s nothing more ambitious than some socks. Included are three of the brands universal fit natural cotton socks (available in either crew or quarter crew) and all the supplies needed to tie-dye them — dye, rubber bands, plastic baggies. You’ll have your choice of two different color combos, either red/yellow/blue or navy/green/yellow. And if it turns out you’re a tie-dye aficionado, the kit includes enough to dye some more socks or larger items, so feel free to go crazy.

Sacred Salad Sauce

The world’s first spicy sauce for salad. This all-natural, vegan sauce includes a fresh habanero serrano chili mix, some mashed up mangos and citrus tangerines, making it a super healthy choice when zesting up your boring bowls of lettuce.

Noah x Vuarnet

Noah has teamed up with French brand Vuarnet for a collaboration that perfectly encapsulates summer. The stars of the collaboration are (of course) the sunglasses, of which there are two styles: the Atlantic (available in black and tortoise) and the District (available in tortoise, white or black), both of which remain true to the brands’ ethos or simplicity and timelessness. And if you wanted to build an outfit entirely around the shades, the collaboration also includes a graphic tee, black sweatshirt, a rugby in classic black and white stripes, patchwork-esque swim trunks and corduroy baseball caps. It’s a small collection, but its focus is its greatest strength.

Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO Tenet Special Edition

Once again, director Christopher Nolan has tapped watch brand Hamilton to create a custom-made watch for his upcoming film. This time it’s Tenet, and the watch is the Hamilton Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO Tenet Special Edition. Available July 1st, the watch will come in two variants: one with a blue seconds arrow, and the other a red seconds arrow, in reference to key colors in the film. Each color variant will be limited to 888 pieces — a nod to the movie’s title which is also a palindrome — and will come in unique packaging created by Tenet’s production designer.

Disaronno Velvet

Disaronno is an Italian liqueur with five centuries of history … and, for a long time, a lack of new product. No more: The new Velvet is a cream liqueur that’s just fine over ice but really excels in cocktails (whiskey and coffee-based drinks in particular). It’s a relatively low 17% ABV and smooth (like … velvet) liqueur that tastes a lot like liquid baklava. Our espresso martinis are getting an upgrade.

Wellen Summerweight Pants and Shorts

Wellen has just made getting dressed way easier with their new collection of summer-appropriate bottoms at Huckberry. Included in the selection are chinos, chino shorts, board shorts and even jeans. While you might be reluctant to put on full length pants considering the heat, the brand’s Easy Chino is a blend of cotton and linen to allow for breathability. They even feature a drawstring waist, so they’re as easy (and comfortable) as those sweatpants you’ve become accustomed to. And if you wanna show off those gams, feel free to with their Organic Cotton Short, a hybrid short that works just as well indoors as it does outdoors. So go ahead, get actually dressed.
