When talents from different vocations conspire, the results can be fabulous — a lesson you may recall from watching Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and if so, Bravo.
Conspiring to feed you gourmet dinners in the most beautiful homes in the city: the multi-vocational junta behind A City Farmer, A Chef, A Host, now taking reservations.
[callout] … penthouse dinners cheffed by Andrew Carmellini, Laurent Gras, and others [/callout]
A citywide “dine-around evening” of twelve concurrent dinners held in private homes across the boroughs, ACFACAH (say it!) events are cheffed by all-star captains of the kitchen: Andrew Carmellini of The Dutch and Locanda Verde, Gramercy Tavern’s Howard Kalachnikoff, ABC Kitchen’s Dan Kluger, and many more (feast on the full lineup).
Each of the intimate gatherings will seat 12-15 in residences ranging from a sprawling rooftop garden in Harlem (pictured) to Tasting Table’s private SoHo test kitchen. Hosts include Eater.com founder Ben Leventhal, The Food Network’s Ellie Krieger, and best-selling author James Frey.
To attend, simply buy a ticket — you’ll get to choose which three farmer/chef/host combos you’d prefer to attend, but you won’t know which specific soiree you’ll be assigned until a week before the event.
Not to worry, they’re all conspiring to keep you well fed regardless.
