Dubai is planning to bring a bit of Italian culture to the UAE.
The Venetian hotel complex is two and a half miles off the coast of the city. It will have 414 cabins. More than 40 percent of the cabins as well as the resort’s spa and three of its 12 restaurants will be underwater, according to CNN.
The resort is scheduled to be completed in 2020. Take a look at some of the proposed designs.
