Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski took to social media this weekend to tease a “big announcement,” leading some to speculate over whether he will be coming out of retirement to rejoin the Patriots.
Gronkowski must let the Patriots know by Saturday, Nov. 30 if he wants to return. His “big announcement” will take place on his Instagram page on Tuesday (Nov. 19) at 9 a.m.

Gronk said the announcement will be Tuesday at 9:00 AM.

Of course, the last time Gronk teased a big announcement, it turned out to be his partnership with a CBD company. Last month, however, he said he was “open” to the possibility of returning to the Patriots.
“I would have to be feeling it – feeling it big time to come back,” he said on Fox’s NFL pregame show. “It’s always going to be open in my mind.”
Gronkowski made the comments in response to Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s remarks about his retirement. “We all love Gronk, and I think the bottom line is he hasn’t put his retirement papers in. So we can always pray and hope,” Kraft said. “There is hope for us still with Gronk.”
Looks like we’ll have to wait until Tuesday to find out just how realistic that hope is.
