The car that The King used as his carriage when he was a high school senior is headed to auction.

Crossing the block on Monday with a final sale date of December 8, the 2003 Hummer H2 LeBron James drove in high school is being sold by Goldin Auctions.

The subject of an investigation by Ohio basketball officials in 2003, the SUV is “definitely a six-figure piece,” according to Goldin Auctions president Ken Goldin.

State officials investigated the car because it was curious how James, a high school basketball player living in public housing in Akron, could have afforded the $50,000 car.

He was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing as it was revealed his mother, Gloria James, had obtained the car from a local car dealership after getting a loan from the dealer.

An 18th birthday for James, The Kelley Blue Book value of the car is about $18,000, though it has been upgraded with a custom sound system and TVs.
