“It’s f-cking going to be hard to do. I think it’s going to be very hard to do.”

That’s what Tom Brady says in a new trailer announcing that his Tom vs Time Facebook series will have a surprise episode dropping tomorrow.

That’s clear. What exactly the quarterback is talking about is less so.

Dropping at noon on Wednesday, the episode promises an “epilogue” of Tom vs Time. “Win or lose, Tom Brady’s mind is always on the next game,” according to the text accompanying the trailer.

The trailer shows Brady working out, running on the beach, and vacationing with his family.

Prior to the “hard to do” lines, he says: “When I look at probably the last six months, it’s been the first time where I’ve taken a little break. If I’m going to do something at this point, it’s going to be because I enjoy it.”

While playing football is still something he ostensibly enjoys, it’s fair to speculate Brady will be his retirement plans tomorrow prior to the start of his 19th season in the NFL.

In the past, Brady has said he wants to remain in New England in 2019 and “beyond,” but tensions within the Patriots organization may have him rethinking that stance.

Maybe we’ll find out tomorrow – but probably not.
