You may not be able to take your kids trick-or-treating this year thanks to COVID, but apparently you can still celebrate Halloween at a sex club instead.
Elite sex club Snctm is reportedly hosting a (very topical) Black Death-themed Halloween party this year, according to Page Six. Back in March, Snctm made headlines for moving forward with plans to host a sex party in New York amid the rapidly escalating early days of the pandemic, before ultimately calling off the event.
The club has slowly made a comeback in recent months, “keeping a low profile since their return, testing the waters of hosting safely in this new world,” a source told Page Six. Snctm has reportedly hosted a few small events since September, “all with COVID rapid testing of every person who enters the premises,” according to the outlet. Guests at two events in September, which featured an “erotic dinner” and shibari, were reportedly greeted at the door by a board-certified physician and his team performing SARS-CoV-2 rapid testing. The guest list also capped at 30 people. The same protocols are expected to remain in place for the Halloween party later this month.
As for whether any actual sex is going down at these parties, Snctm has remained coy, telling Page Six, “I would say thus far the behavior of our guests within the parties has indicated a great pent-up demand for our events, and an appreciation of the precautions we have undertaken.”
