Porn star Ron Jeremy was charged Tuesday with sexually assaulting four women, according to a news release issued by the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office and cited by multiple sources.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office charged Jeremy with eight counts, including forcible rape, forcible penetration and forcible oral copulation in incidents dating back to 2014. If convicted, the performer reportedly faces up to 90 years to life in prison, according to prosecutors.
According to the LA Times, prosecutors allege Jeremy attacked one woman at a West Hollywood home in 2014, while the other three attacks allegedly happened at a West Hollywood bar in 2017 and 2019.
The charges come a few weeks after a Charity Carson, a longtime friend of the performer, told the New York Post Jeremy had assaulted her in a West Hollywood Hotel, referring to the porn star as “a sexual predator.”
