Jennifer Garner portrays a vicious vigilante in Taken director Pierre Morel’s forthcoming revenge thriller Peppermint. After her family is gunned down by a drug cartel in front of her, Garner’s character, Riley North, disappears for years to train how to take on the killers herself.
Garner told ET backstage at CinemaCon exactly how she got into shape for the role: “I did a lot of crazy, inverted push ups and there were some weights involved. There was some boxing involved,” Garner said. “It felt great to be back with a stunt team again. My stunt double and I have worked together since I think the third or fourth episode of “Alias.” She’s like my sister!”
