A new Star Wars spinoff is being added to the franchise’s ever-expanding galaxy.

Disney is developing a live-action, scripted series with Diego Luna returning as his Rogue One: A Star Wars Story character, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The new series will follow the early days of the Rebellion, pre- Rogue One, and the storyline of rebel spy, Cassian Andor.

“Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me,” Luna told THR. “I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.”

The show will air on Disney’s newly announced streaming service, Disney +. It is the first of several Star Wars live-action shows expected from the entertainment giant.
