If you’re anything like us, quarantine has added a little extra clutter to your life, and once it starts piling up, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out how to begin to tackle it. Enter Marie Kondo.
As Fast Company points out, Kondo’s company KonMari has launched a new online course called “The Fundamentals of Tidying,” in which the Netflix host teaches you the basics of her tidying method for just $39.99. The course consists of 10 episodes that are each between three and 20 minutes long, and they feature Kondo directly addressing the viewer (in Japanese, with English subtitles) and explaining her techniques.
“Many people are looking to make better use of their homes now that they are doing so much more at home, like working and homeschooling,” Takumi Kawahara, KonMari CEO and Kondo’s husband, told Fast Company.
Kawahara adds that with so many people working from home during the pandemic, there has been an increased demand for tips on how to properly set up a home office or optimize work spaces. “They’re looking for ways to reorganize their homes to create home offices,” he said. “They’re trying to declutter to focus on their work.”
