To taunt short sellers who bet against Tesla and celebrate his company’s stock soaring by 10 percent after its Q2 report was released on Thursday, Elon Musk announced he’s selling limited-edition red satin “short shorts” on the Tesla website.

The shorts are being sold for $69.420 (nice), and they have the word “S3XY” written on the back in a reference to both sexiness and Tesla’s Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y vehicles.
“Celebrate summer with Tesla Short Shorts. Run like the wind or entertain like Liberace with our red satin and gold trim design,” the description for the shorts on Tesla’s website reads. “Relax poolside or lounge indoors year-round with our limited-edition Tesla Short Shorts, featuring our signature Tesla logo in front with ‘S3XY’ across the back. Enjoy exceptional comfort from the closing bell.”
Will send some to the Shortseller Enrichment Commission to comfort them through these difficult times

Musk also tweeted that he “will send some to the Shortseller Enrichment Commission to comfort them through these difficult times.” On Wednesday, Tesla moved past Toyota to become the world’s most valuable car company, with a market cap of more than $208 billion.
If you’re looking to get your hands on a pair of the shorts, however, you may be out of luck: the Tesla site briefly shut down after being flooded with orders, and as of this writing, they’re out of stock.
