“It’s my duty to please that booty.”
No one would ever forget saying that line, so no surprise Samuel L. Jackson recognized the quote as one of his own yesterday. The ever-quotable star was quizzed on Jimmy Kimmel Live about certain lines he may (or may not) have delivered throughout his storied career.
The catch? All the lines were acted out by senior citizens at a local farmer’s market.
Jackson correctly identified profane bon mots from The Other Guys, The Spirit, Pulp Fiction and Shaft (see: “Booty”). He even landed a line from Snakes on a Plane that somehow didn’t mention snakes or mothers. The actor also correctly sidestepped misattributed lines from Al Pacino, Wesley Snipes and Clint Eastwood.
English, motherf*cker: Samuel L. speaks it.
