Michael Reagan is coming to the defense of Bill O’Reilly following allegations of workplace sexual harassment that led to the conservative media star’s ousting at Fox News Channel.
And the son of former President Ronald Reagan and his first wife, Jane Wyman, opened up a controversy of his own in the process.
“Hot Choclare used to be a compliment on your looks today it is called sexual harassment,” Reagan tweeted Thursday night. “If women are going to wear low cut dresses that show cleavage don’t be harassed when we men look.”
The 67-year-old O’Reilly was fired Wednesday following a bombshell report from the New York Times, which detailed the $13 million paid in out-of-court settlements to settle the TV staple’s alleged indiscretions. An internal investigation also revealed more complaints from women about his behavior at the company. O’Reilly is rumored to receive up to a $25 million payout from the network, or the equivalent of one year’s salary for his departure.
