Legendary director Stephen Spielberg says it could be time for that iconic explorer Indiana Jones to take “a different form.” In an interview with the British tabloid Sun, he nodded when asked if it a woman could swashbuckle her way into the legendary role.
“There would be nothing wrong with that,” Spielberg reportedly said. He also told reporters that the fifth Indiana Jones movie will begin in April of next year, but the franchise is far from over.
“This will be Harrison Ford’s last Indiana Jones movie, I am pretty sure, but it will certainly continue after that.”
