Folks at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration have ordered a a safety review of SpaceX and Boeing in response to Musk’s on-air doobie dabbling.
The review into the “safety culture” of both Boeing and SpaceX will begin next year, NASA associate administrator for human exploration, William Gerstenmaier, said, TechCrunch reported.
Instead of focusing on rocket safety, NASA’s Office of Safety and Mission Assurance will look into how many hours employees work, company drug policies, leadership styles, and company responses to employees’ safety concerns.
