Ten years after the release of the first iPhone, a photography awards showcase centered around the smartphone’s camera is still going strong.
The iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) announced the winners of the 10th Annual Awards this week. This year’s winners came from a field of thousands of i-photographers hailing from over 140 countries.
Founded in 2007, IPPAWARDS has “grown from a small circle of people and friends of friends into a truly global audience with thousands of participants,” creator Kenan Aktulun said in a statement.
“In this time of political upheaval we feel very thankful to host such a truly diverse group of people and their view of the world.”
