Dinner cruises have a poor reputation, as they tend to be bookended by suburbanites oohing and ahing at the Jersey skyline and overserved grannies doing the Electric Slide.
We promise you: this dinner cruise is very, very different.
Introducing The Water Table, Brooklyn’s take on waterborne eats, now taking reservations for its December 6th maiden voyage.
The Water Table is housed inside The Revolution — an actual WWII-era Navy Yard patrol boat and former minesweeper (sadly, not Prince’s backup band) — which has been fully retrofitted into an enclosed, candle-cozy, wood-planked resto one would expect of Greenpoint’s cobbled streets.
Only difference being: this one leaves Greenpoint to ply the East River down around the Statue of Liberty and back.
And true to its Brooklyn home, The Water Table features a menu of seasonal comfort grub, like corn chowder with applewood smoked ham, mussel salad with roasted fennel, and butterscotch cookies with a shot of rum.
Holiday party? The Water Table can also be rented out for up to 40 guests, complete with custom menu.
We can get on-board with that.
