On rare occasions in LA, you’ll find a group of creatives who are dedicated to refuting this town’s cutthroat ethics.
Places where they believe hey, not all nice guys finish last, just as not all who wander are Damon Lindelof.
Introducing Hub LA’s brand new Media Lab: a collaborative workspace that’s one part cafe, one part biz accelerator and all parts community center for entrepreneurs and social do-gooders.
Anyone not trying to create positive social or environmental impact need not apply.
Housed in the former Arts District warehouse of Crazy Gideon, Media Lab purports to help you (or your company) with everything from office supplies (hot damn, staplers) to access to their partners, e.g., Film Independent, the LA Film Fest and AIGA.
The Media Lab includes:
-
One 35-person screening room
-
One movable green screen
-
Two 24-hour editing bays with dual boot Avid/Final Cut Pro systems
-
By-the-hour production offices
-
40-person classroom for offsite strategizing and lectures
-
Two conference rooms with flatscreen TVs
The media space will be open to members and non-members alike, and will eventually include a rooftop lounge and community garden.
Let the world-saving begin.
