Christie’s is set to auction off an extremely rare first edition of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland on June 16 in New York. The original 1865 edition will be featured in its own standalone auction immediately following Christie’s “Books and Manuscripts” sale, whose highlight will be an influential Beat Era letter from Neal Cassady to Jack Kerouac. Pre-auction estimates put the Wonderland first edition at $2 million to $3 million. For more on the auction, click here.
