Ahead of the 45th annual Tokyo Motor Show, Yamaha has begun teasing its vision of the future. Among the 20 models it’ll be showing off to the public, its new Motoroid motorcycle — an all-electric two-wheeler concept — may be the most intriguing.
A prototype for the time being, the details are scarce. But from its futuristic looks, we can tell a highly specialized rear suspension, pistol grip steering and a gas tank for looks and comfort. And if that doesn’t raise your eyebrow, the bike will feature built-in artificial intelligence that Yamaha says will allow it to recognize its owner and even interact “in other capacities like a living creature.”
No one knows what that means exactly, but it’s provactive as hell. Either way, we’ll have to wait until the Tokyo Motor Show kicks off on October 27th.
