Bentley‘s done it; so has Aston Martin. Now, Bugatti is the latest luxury automaker to ask an ambitious question: what if we applied our aethetic to residential living? And now, they’ve released images of what the planned Bugatti Residences in Dubai will look like, via a collaboration with Emirati property developer Binghatti. As it turns out, the answer — at least in part — draws inspiration from the French Riviera.

All told, the Bugatti Residences will comprise 182 different living spaces, with 171 of them designated as “Riviera Mansions” and 11 of them categorized as “Sky Mansion Penthouses,” as per the automaker’s announcement.

Perhaps the most intriguing part of the announcement is a reference to “a Riviera-inspired beach,” which suggests that the curved facade of the building won’t be the only feats of engineering on display here. The official announcement also pointed to some familiar luxury amenities, including a pool, spa and fitness center. There will also be two elevators capable of taking a resident’s car directly to their penthouse.

All told, the Bugatti Residences will stand 42 stories tall. Some crucial information about the project remains to be announced, including when the residences will go on the market and when the tower is slated to open. Which, one assumes, will be answered in due time.
