Pininfarina and Rossinavi Yachts have joined forces for a gorgeous superyacht concept called “Aurea.”
And the seas may never be the same again.
Aurea, taken from the Latin word for “golden,” is a diesel-electric masterpiece, set apart from other superyacht designs by the concentric rings on its two upper decks that extend all the way to the rear transom. It’s a bold aesthetic choice that makes sense coming from Pininfarina, a company that made its name designing Ferraris.
The Aurea’s helical superstructure has other benefits, too. The top deck’s falling ring creates a terrace on the upper deck just above it, mimicking a cliffside view of the sea that would be impossible to replicate otherwise.
The design is friendly to some plush amenities as well, including two outdoor swimming pools, three exterior decks, and a beach-club area that outclasses other yachts its size. There’s even a Jacuzzi deck.
