Lauren Wicks is a freelance writer and editor based in Birmingham, Alabama. She received her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Alabama in 2017 and began her career as a digital editorial fellow with Dotdash Meredith. Lauren worked at Cooking Light, EatingWell, and VERANDA before going out on her own in 2022.
