Kaitlyn McInnis

Kaitlyn McInnis is a Canadian travel writer and guidebook author committed to helping you plan your next holiday. Her travel writing has been featured in international publications across six continents, including Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Tatler Asia, South China Morning Post, The Points Guy, Forbes, Robb Report, Eater, CNN and more.
Kaitlyn has visited every Canadian province but currently calls Montreal, Quebec home. She has also lived in Toronto, Ontario; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and St. John's, Newfoundland. A travel writer by trade, she spends the majority of the year exploring different corners of the world and has traveled to more than thirty countries on six continents (and has tickets to Antarctica booked for this year!).
Prior to diving head first into travel writing, Kaitlyn served as the Managing Editor at AskMen, where she commuted between New York and Montreal while leading a team of writers and lifestyle experts across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia.
Kaitlyn graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Art in English Literature and a Minor in Irish Studies. She also attended the Magazine Writing program at McGill University before pursuing a Master's of Fine Arts at the University of King's College, where she is working on a nonfiction travel manuscript about the history of train travel in Canada. Her debut guidebook, 111 Places in Montreal That You Must Not Miss, is set to be released by Emons Verlag in 2023.
