Zoë Kravitz is doing ASMR in a new Super Bowl ad for Michelob ULTRA.
The actress, who late last year went nude for Rolling Stone, is the latest celebrity to join the likes of Cardi B, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Aubrey Plaza doing ASMR on the internet.
According to sleep.org: “ASMR, which stands for autonomous sensory meridian response, is still a relatively new creation. It describes a feeling of euphoric tingling and relaxation that can come over someone when he or she watches certain videos or hears certain sounds.” Typically, the sounds involve tapping and whispering.
“Let’s all experience something together,” Kravitz whispers into a mic, surrounded by a mesmerizing scenic landscape.
Holding the bottle close to the mic, tapping on it she says, “This place, so pure you can feel it.”
The ad for the new USDA certified organic beer is the latest light lager for Michelob ULTRA. It has 2.5 carbs and only 85 calories.
Pouring the beer into a tall class creates a wonderful fizzing sound which Kravitz accentuates by holding the glass near the mic.
This isn’t the first booze-related Super Bowl spot we’ve seen before the big game. The Dude and Carrie Bradshaw returned to shake up their drink selection in a new Stella Artois Super Bowl ad.
Kravitz was recently on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars as a guest judge and will soon return to HBO as Bonnie on Big Little Lies.
