Whenever Nordstrom throws a sale on Hamilton watches, it’s worth a gander. Their Swiss-made timepieces already walk that ideal line of affordability and respectability, so when the discounts come into play — like they do right now when a dozen models are 25% off — it’s time to open up space in your collection, or if you’re still wet behind the gears, finally take that step into the automatic realm.

However, this particular sale is the best we’ve ever seen. Why? Because the Hamilton Murph, one of our absolute favorite models from the brand, is almost $250 off.

If you’ve got a good memory, you may just recognize it from the Christopher Nolan space epic Interstellar, where it actually plays a pretty big role. The Murph is a “faithful recreation” of the watch in the movie and includes subtle nods to it, like Morse code on the seconds hand that translates to “Eureka.” But even if you don’t care for Nolan or the film, this is just a slam-dunk of a field watch. There are timeless touches like the sturdy stainless steel case and black leather strap, but the cathedral hands, the subtle typeface and the beige detailing make this far more than a movie prop.

That said, the built-in fanbase for the Murph is likely to lead to a quick sellout. Grab one for an unbeatable discount while you can.
