First, the bad news. If you haven’t already heard, Segway has officially stopped producing its signature self-balancing scooter/personal transporter/tourist death trap. It turns out the technology was truly ahead of its time.

The good news? Segway also builds a mean electric scooter, and their Ninebot KickScooter ES2 model is currently $150 through August 15, or until supplies run out.

The discount is called the “Return to Learn Special,” and includes a free phone holder, apparently because Segway is trying to market them to college students who need to putter around campus. After all, this sucker hits 15.5 mph, goes up to 15.5 miles on one charge and only weighs 27.6 pounds, so you can fold it up and roll it along with you inside.

But because in-person education is up in the air right now, no matter how certain universities are that they’ll reopen, you should take this discount as a more open-ended offer. Want a better way to take a daily constitutional? Find yourself sticking around your neighborhood and want something other than a car to zip around on? Locked in an empty mansion with wide hallways and no guests to fill them? Then this electric scooter is for you.
