Marty McFly’s VW Bus Would Have Gullwing Doors

Inside: A time machine dash and Flux Capacitor

This might me the best homage to Doc’s DeLorean we’ve ever seen.

Ex-NFLer Cortland Finnegan asked BLVD Customs to slap gullwing doors on a ‘67 Volkswagen Microbus and equip it with a number of other modifications — like a Flux Capacitor and time machine controls on the dash.

Decked out in a stainless steel wrap that mimics Marty McFly’s motor vehicle of choice, the van’s revamped interior is orange with yellow-and-white upholstered seats. In addition to looking cool, the one-off has plenty of room for activities with a rear bench seat that folds down into a bed and an LCD monitor for watching movies or playing video games.

The downside, if there is one, is the van only has a 1.5-liter engine and four-speed transmission. If you’re a fan of the van, the BTF-themed bus is for sale here for the reduced price of $89,995.

Be warned though. Even though the bus has a Flux Capacitor, we doubt you’ll be able to time travel with it. Good luck getting a ‘67 VW up to 88 MPH.
