Christie Brinkley, maybe the most iconic model to ever grace the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, is making her triumphant return to the magazine — at the age of 63 to the magazine.
And she isn’t returning alone.
Brinkley first graced the magazine’s cover in 1979—and two more times in the next two years. Although she won’t be on the cover this time around, the ageless beauty will be flanked by her two daughters, 18-year-old Sailor Brinkley Cook and 31-year-old Alex Ray Joel.
Brinkley told SI that she “couldn’t believe” that they wanted to shoot her with her daughters and that she was “thrilled.” “This is a real full-circle moment for me,” noted Brinkley.
